Position: Client Manager

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000

Location: Bolton

A leading accountancy firm based in Bolton is recruiting for a Client Manager to join their team. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual looking to progress and build a successful career.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing approximately 100 clients from audit, sole trader and personal tax returns (turnover ranging from £50k to £50m)
• Meeting with clients individually and with the Director
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnership from client records for the director to review.
• Training and overseeing the junior team members in bookkeeping, management accounts, personal tax and accounts preparation
• Preparing of quarterly management accounts for clients, including analysis of figures
• Managing the junior team members in VAT returns
• Corporation tax and capital allowance computations and returns
• Personal tax returns and a good general knowledge of personal tax.
• Maintaining and updating Iris practice management to ensure statutory deadlines are met in relation to above services
• Communicating with clients, responding to queries and ensuring clients are satisfied with the service provided.

The Successful Candidate Will Need:

• Qualified in ACA or ACCA
• Have minimum 3 years in a Practice role.
• Experience managing/ supporting a small number of employees
• A good understanding of IRIS and XERO accounting software
