Marks Sattin are working alongside a Top100 accounts practice based in Leeds City Centre who are seeking an experienced Cloud Accounting Assistant.

The responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping on behalf of a variety of clients to include sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Cloud accounting on Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Work with the existing accounts team to identify and implement improvements
• Provide technical support internally for the accounts team
• Provide advice on existing client in-house systems and identify where improvements could be made to quality, information extraction and efficiency
• Provide ad hoc technical support to clients as required

Skills / Qualifications

• Stong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous cloud accounting software experience
• Ideally AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA (Study support is provided)
