Commercial Finance Accountant

My client is looking for someone to join them on an interim basis to provide support on financial and management accounting ensuring completion of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monthly reporting of financial performance
• Support preparation of statutory accounts
• Develop and provide MI and KPI's
• Manage and prepare accruals and prepayments
• Support implementation of financial control process including balance sheet reconciliations
• Support modelling and pricing of new bids
• VAT returns
• Support any process and system changes and efficiencies on an ongoing basis

You will be/have:

• A fully qualified accountant
• At least 5 years PQE
• A strong management/ financial accounting skillset
• Ideally experience within a high volume and small value income collection business
• Ideally experience in implementing control processes and systems within finance
• Ideally experience within modelling, bids and pricing
• Strong excel skills
