Qualified Commercial Finance Analyst role based in Birmingham.

As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be a key contact to the Commercial & Operations Directors. You'll be assisting in the preparation of all monthly management accounts. This will include the analysis of monthly movements on profit and loss and operational expenses. Your role will be pivotal in assisting the business with all Commercially related reporting and analytics including assisting in the initial evaluation of new pricing proposal and initiatives for a new haulage contract.

Your role as Commercial Finance Analyst Will report into the Financial Controller for Operations with a dotted line into the Operations/ Commercial Directors you'll ensure that management accounts and forecasts are produced in a timely and efficient manner. This role is critical in ensuring that every decision made generates significant value to the wider business.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Ideally degree eduacted with experience gained in a similar role or fast paced commercial environment.
• Highly developed communication skills. You will be confident in communicating finance to non-finance stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of investment appraisal techniques (e.g. NPV, P&L projections etc)
• Good planning and organising skills.
• Strong IT skills with a detailed knowledge of Excel & related systems
• Flexible approach to work.
