A reputable retailer based in central London has created a new role for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their fast pace team.

Reporting to the Commercial Controller, you will be responsible for daily and weekly sales reporting, variance analysis, wholesale customer profitability reconciliations, P&L production for both stores and e-commerce, overhead reporting, product cost and buying margin analysis, inventory reporting and analysis, business partnering with other teams across the business including retail, wholesale, e-commerce, marketing and more.

The ideal candidate will have previous/ current experience working in a commercial finance role. Ideally you will have strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and understand large, complex data sets. This is a business partnering role so candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels. Strong Excel skills are essential and previous working knowledge of AS400 and TM1 (Cognos) would be beneficial. This role would be best suited to candidates who have strong reporting experience, and those who are part qualified/ finalist (ACCA/ CIMA) or equivalent.
