Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst for an instantly recognisable brand based in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing and evolving business to demonstrate through your previous roles an ambition to progress, utilising your data driven and analytical experience.

You'll work with and support the Finance Business Partner team and budget holders to manage cost centre performance against budget/forecast objectives. You'll need to show a desire to take on board new tasks and processes to improve and streamline.

• Work as a Financial Analyst, with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders of business units, including senior executives and management teams.
• Complete processes & activities contributing to monthly accounts in line with accounting standards and meeting management accounting requirements
• Produce financial analysis & consideration of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow to enable accurate accounting and forecasting
• You'll need to financially assess commercial issues and settlements for accounting and decision making purposes
• Produce financial analysis & reporting on performance to aid the Finance Business Partners in challenging the business to focus on corporate objectives and maximise return on investment
• Responsible for company-wide processes & activities (for example, time-booking driven headcount recharges)
• Play a significant part participating in business planning activities, with understanding of fixed and variable elements, key risks, opportunities, dependencies and scenarios. Supporting detailed rolling forecast view for business units.
