A leading FMCG business with a reputable and recognised brand portfolio is currently seeking an astute and commercial Finance Business Partner to work with their Sales Leadership Team. The role will support the business in achieving planned strategies and goals, whilst providing support where required by the supply teams to deliver quality products. You will ensure that the correct financial controls are implemented in all areas of sales and drive efficiencies and improvements where needed.

Working closely with senior management and the CFO, the responsibilities and duties will be broad and varied. You will manage the performance reporting and analysis in relation to sales and provide management reporting on results and products for presentation to senior management. In an influential position, you will be expected to advise on different routes to market and recognise and implement opportunities to improve business performance and increase profit. You will work closely with sales teams to aid in business decisions and targets, advising on adherence to accounting requirements and governance where necessary. Finally, you will lead and motivate a small team, focused on delivering best in class finance.

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and hold a numerate degree. You will be able to demonstrate business partnering and influencing skills having worked with sales teams previously, ideally from the manufacturing or FMCG industry. You will also have experience of motivating and leading teams. This is an influential role that offers an excellent opportunity to improve business performance from the front and develop your career in the commercial finance space.
