We are working with a successful and reputable name in the science industry that invests heavily in efficiency, continuous improvement and solution development to achieve growth. Due to recent internal moves and promotions, there now exists a need for an accomplished Finance Business Partner to oversee the financial performance and profitability for commercial UK projects and contracts, partnering with relevant Project Directors.

Overall accountability for the position is being responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting for a portfolio of projects around the UK, partnering across different areas within the business and gaining breadth of experience across various contracts. You will be tasked with leading individuals within the project finance team, reviewing accounting and revenue assurance on the projects in order to give guidance and analysis on profitability. The position will also have key involvement in managing finance change and seeking continuous improvement in relation to systems and reporting tools and others areas where required.

To be considered you must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have held previous FP&A / commercial finance managerial roles with a broad remit, likely from a large corporate. As well as having strong attention to detail, you will have excellent communication skills to business partner with senior stakeholders and lead and motivate individuals. Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry will be advantageous, as will be the ability to work in an environment experiencing change.
