I am working on an exciting, newly released opportunity within an international asset manager who are looking to bring on a bright, recently qualified ACA accountant into their fast-paced fund accounting team.

With nearly $2bn AUM and an extensive growth plan for the next few years the firm are one of the most interesting firms to work for. They are a fixed income asset manager and have an extremely fast paced and entrepreneurial culture where you will be challenged and get some great exposure across the deals from day one whilst also enjoying an excellent work life balance and great working environment.

In terms of the role, they are looking for someone to come in as a Fund Accountant and work within their Fixed Income business. I have attached the spec however as brief overview the role will be varied and include not only the preparation of the NAVs but also extensive exposure across valuations of the investments, looking at the trades and liaising extensively with the portfolio management and front office teams on a daily basis.

It is a really interesting opportunity which will act as an excellent first step into the world of Investment Management and lead to a more deal/commercially focused role in the future.

Due to the nature of the role the firm are looking for someone who is recently qualified with experience working with clients within the Investment Management space. They are looking for someone who is motivated, assertive and keen to progress within this exciting organisation and someone who will take full advantage of the opportunities available!
