This role will give you hands on experience in high volume transactional daily cash, accounts payable/receievable reconciliations, month end processes, financial statement preparation and budget analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accounts to trial balance stage and maintain all supporting schedules
  • Preparing financial statements and liaise with external auditors
  • Balance sheet and Income Statement analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting analysis
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Prepare VAT and Corporation Tax returns
  • Manage the accounts payable process
  • Liaise with head office on a daily, monthly basis
  • Other daily ad-hoc duties

Skills & Experience:

  • Min 2.1 in Business Studies, Finance / Accounting degree or equivalent
  • Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA with 0-2 years PQE
  • Ideally Big 4 / Top 10 trained
  • An enthusiastic team player who works well under pressure, in a busy work environment
  • Computer literate and with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Confident communicator both written and oral
