My Client is currently looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join an already established Corporate Development team based in Paddington. the role sits within one of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment in Europe and the business sits firmly on the FTSE 250 list.

The business is currently undertaking a significant transformation and is looking to grow through acquisition and portfolio optimisation.

the key responsibilities for the role include,

  • Lead end-to-end the mergers and acquisition execution process
  • Produce and review post-deal performance reviews
  • Lead the analysis, modelling and due diligence process
  • Produce board level and senior management reports on M&A activities
  • Direct and manage resources form both advisers and other parts of the business
  • Support the development of growth strategy
  • undertake and lead post-deal performance reviews

the ideal candidate should have the following background and abilities,

  • Posses a professional accounting qualification, ACA preferred
  • At least 3+ years PQE within a Top 4 practice Corporate Finance team or a Boutique advisory firm
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Experience with clients from a distribution environment is favourable but not essential
  • experience in leading mid-market acquisitions and divestment's across several markets
