Marks Sattin are currently partnering a well-known FMCG business who are looking to recruit a results-driven Credit Control Manager.
Key duties as Credit Control Manager:
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective and professional Credit Control system
- Review procedures, develop and implement enhancements
- Set SLA's for the team - cash allocation / credit notes / statements / new accounts
- To set and monitor cash targets and produce weekly reports
- Act as Department head but also play an active role as a team member for certain key accounts
- Ability to stop the supply of goods and services to overdue accounts
- Prepare files for the transfer of certain debt to external debt recovery and legal recourse
- Ensure all accounting transactions are compliant with Company procedure and HMRC
- Ensure month/quarter/year end procedures are completed within timescales
- Take responsibility to ensure that cash receipts are noted on company bank statements appropriately cleared down and dealt with by the Credit Control Team.
- Monitor data integrity of the database
- Chair regular meetings with the credit control team in order to ensure all orders are being met
- Work with the sales team to gain their help as and when necessary on potential bad debt in order for Area Sales to visit delinquent accounts
Package on offer for the position as Credit Control Manager:
- £32,000 - £36,000 basic
