A global heavyweight within the financial services industry is currently looking for an ambitious individual to further their career within credit control.
As an important member of the credit function that reports into the credit manager, you will be responsible for minimising bad debts through effective application of the firm's credit policy. You will be counted on to build rapport & deliver excellent customer service to ensure that you are providing a robust collection service, ensuring your performance meets clients needs, whilst being target driven to meet and exceed the businesses targets.
On a daily basis you'll deal with an array of duties and enquiries related to the credit function, leading to you becoming an invaluable asset in the day-to-day operations. Your main duties will be dealing with low volume low value accounts, compliance, KPI performance and identifying risks and escalating accordingly. You will be responsible for building relations with client's accounts payables team and understanding the end to end process for each of your clients. You will also be responsible for any general admin and offer support to the team where necessary.
Ideally you will have around 1-2 years experience working within a credit control position in a medium/large professional business. What's more you will have proven success in a fast paced credit control environment handling a large number of clients. And, as well as good negotiation & persuasion skills, you'll need an ability to communicate effectively with the team, stakeholders and clients.
