Credit Controller

£22,000-24,000 + generous benefits package. Castleford.

Are you an experienced credit controller that is able to work autonomously and deal with notoriously difficult accounts?

I'm currently working with a Yorkshire based multi-site FMCG/Retail business that supplies speciality goods to a number of large blue chip national businesses.

Where you fit in?

You'll be joining a developing businesses within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working. You will need to be meticulously planned and a tenacious in your approach to bringing money back into the business from debtor accounts that are historically well known for be tricky to collect from.

Your role:

• Assessing customer credit and make recommendations on credit limits and terms of credit
• Monitoring customer accounts
• Account reconciliations
• Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
• Lots of dispute resolution

What you need?

You will need to be the kind of person that has a good attitude to proactively chasing debts and a hardy personality to be successful. This is an ideal role for someone that prides themselves on resilience and good negotiation skills in challenging situations.
