Outstanding Opportunity - Urgent Requirement - Leading consultancy in Central London with enviable reputation looking to bring in an experienced Data Protection Consultant. This unique position will give the successful candidate a chance to work with key clients planning, establishing, creating and delivering a data protection framework regarding the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection obstacles. Roles and Responsibilities

• Providing consultancy support in preparing clients for implementation of GDPR;
• Advise on a wide range of privacy and data protection compliance issues which include;
• Supporting a variety of sectors including retail, automotive, energy and finance sector in relation to the implementation of the GDPR;
• Supporting and partnering with the business development team in the development of sales proposal;
• undertaking data privacy impact assessments,
• development of comprehensive privacy policies,
• guidance and training and awareness programmes,
• review of data processor contracts.
• Solid Understanding of GDPR and ISO27001 (Essential)
• Key Understanding of ICO (Information Commissioners office) (Essential)
• Experience of Business Transformation and Change (Essential)
• Qualified in any of : CIPP/E, ISEB, CRISC, IAPP, CIPP, CIPM, CISA, CISO, CISSP (Desirable)
• Previous experience as : Data Protection Consultant, Data Protection Officer, Data Privacy Consultant, Data Privacy Officer, Data Protection Manager, Data Privacy Manager, DPO, Information Governance Manager, Information Governance Consultant, Information Compliance Officer, Information Compliance Consultant, Information Compliance Manager, Information Governance Officer, GDPR consultant, GDPR Project Manager, GDPR Project Lead, GDPR Programme Manager, GDPR Programme Lead, GDPR Subject Matter Expert, GDPR SME
