Job Title: Director of Operations | Private Equity Fund Services | Dublin | Permanent | Excellent Salary

My client, based in Dublin, are currently recruiting for a Director of Operations to join their private equity division on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Development and Senior Management teams on marketing pitches and other client presentations. This is a central team in their organisation with impressive growth plans so its a fantastic time to join the business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage private equity and real estate client relationships within Europe
• Manage growth and scaling of business to meet demand
• Prepare of client service plans
• Assist with the development of on-boarding and transition plans for new client integration
• Provide technical accounting, fund operations, and real estate reporting standards knowledge and expertise to clients
• Coordinate, manage and monitor fund set up and audit requirements
• Manage fund accounting group operations, staffing, hiring, training and development, and escalation of issues
• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with client agreement
• Monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables, approve ad hoc client requests

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years private equity and/or real estate investment accounting experience, mainly in private equity funds
• Minimum 5+ years' demonstrated senior leadership experience.
• BBS in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures and applicable tax reporting and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of International GAAP/IFRS Accounting Principles
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
