Start your job searchInnovative PE Backed technology business in the South West of England seeks a Divisional Finance Director. The role will be key to the business and is expected to provide strong collaborative leadership. This is a very hands on role with complete responsibility for managing the divisional finance function for a growing business.
The role will include working to improve systems, processes and controls as well as leadership and direction of the finance function and team. Reporting to the Group CFO the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finance team to provide complete and robust finance support. This will include preparation of accurate monthly management and statutory accounts, profit and cash forecasts, budgets and projections. In addition you will also have responsibility for strategic planning as well as full P&L ownership for the division. This broad role offers a significant amount of challenge and diversity for an ambitious FD candidate.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,ACMA) preferably chartered, with a demonstrable track record of running the day to day finance function of a business. Strong experience within technology or a tech enabled business is beneficial. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership ability and an excellent track record of success within a high achieving business. Ideally the candidate will have excellent communication skills which will allow them to challenge & drive change internally.
