A large and established multi-national with operations across the world is currently seeking an accomplished EMEA Controller to lead the finance function and provide accounting services to the wider European business divisions.

Your role will be responsible for the overall regional statutory accounting control, with a primary focus of providing the accurate and complete reporting of data across the EMEA region. You will undertake the overall reporting for the countries across, covering approx. 40 - 50 entities, ensuring accordance with accounting requirements such as US GAAP and IFRS. As the key point of contact for senior finance leaders, you will business partner and give guidance on business related accounting issues and agendas. In addition, whilst managing a motivating a team, your role will look at process improvement and enhancement, particularly in relation to the effective use of the SAP general ledger.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a strong background in accounting from a large corporate and pedigree from a leading accountancy practice. You will have extensive technical accounting skills and business partnering ability to work with senior management and ideally exposure to working internationally across Europe.
