Marks Sattin are currently partnering a global FMCG business in Birmingham who are looking to recruit a commercially astute Finance Analyst.

Key duties as Finance Analyst include:

• Assist in the planning, forecasting and reporting processes in order to ensure financial stability in design, implementation and co-ordination of standardised processes for balance sheets across the territory to minimise local finance controlling efforts.
• Generate and assist in the preparation of relevant financial information for Management to safeguard and improve profitability. (Monthly Phasing, Forecasting, Planning). Alert management to areas of deviation in order to assist decision making.
• Assist in the monitoring of chances and risks in order to evaluate the financial situation and support Gen. Mgr. & Finance Dir. to decide about forecast values.
• Assist in the consolidation and analysis of actual and forecasted results to provide the leadership team with accurate information to facilitate decision making to achieve expected Group targets. (Monthly/Quarterly/Forecast Commentary)
• Assist in the implementation of planning and forecasting of all General Expenses across the territory to enable comparability and consolidation of results for the leadership team

Key requirements for the position of Finance Analyst:

• CIMA/ACA qualified (first-time movers from practice will most definitely be considered)
• The ability to communicate and business partner stakeholders at all levels - both finance and non-finance
• Excellent attention to detail

Package on offer for the position of Finance Analyst:

• Up to £42,000 basic
