Marks Sattin is working with a global technology business based in Reading, who are looking for an excellent Finance & Accounting Graduate to join their team on a 6 month temp basis with the view of going permanent.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

The duties include:

• Processing expenses claims.
• Supporting the Accounts Payable.
• Processing, banking cheques & scanning documents.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigation and resolution of items on financial statements.
• Put in place processes to enable accurate and timely reporting of contractual arrangements.
• SOX work and documentation.
• Audit queries coming from external or internal auditors.
• Integrity of financial transactions in the Nominal Ledger.
• Assisting the preparation in month end close and other items of work.
• P&L analysis.
• Ad hoc queries.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• Strong system skills, preferably to include advanced Excel and Access.
• Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification, ACCA/CIMA.
• Previous Finance department experience in med/large business.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of SAP (derisable).
