I am currently working for a one of the biggest HD TV and digital media providers in the UK and are seeking a newly qualified Finance Analyst to join their growing London finance team on a temporary basis for an initial period of four months with a possibility of an extension. The role is reporting directly into the Head of Finance and is based in their brand new Soho office. This is a brilliant opportunity for a newly qualified CA candidate who is looking for their first role outside of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month management accounts - preparation so the P&L and balance sheet
• Preparing regular analysis of performance
• Budget and forecast preparation along with preparation of budget KPI packs
• Preparation of group reporting packs
• Acquisition P&L's and calculations of bonus advances
• Working with the marketing team to update and review spend grids
• Clear reporting on performance provided on a regular basis
• Business partnering with internal teams including production, sales, marketing and editorial
• Able to interpret financial statements
• Analysing evaluating and commenting on relevant financial data
• Conveying financial information to non financial people
• Challenging the business to be financially efficient
• Understanding revenues and costs associated with publishing

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant ACA/CA
• Highly analytical and accurate
• Able to work independently and under supervision

• Highly regarded and trusted by peers and line manager
• Strong relationship developed with key contacts
