Finance Analyst

We are working with a global, high growth company based in Abingdon, with a turnover of over 100 million a year our client isn't looking to slow down. Within the pharmaceutical industry our client is leading the way in break through developments with its dynamic and talented team.

The FP&A Analyst, will assists in analysing business results, preparing annual budgets and forecasts, and proving financial support ensuring that the business meets key financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed and accurate reporting to business, financial and sales management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to support business objectives.
• Partner with department heads to understand OpEx trends, causes of unexpected variance to budget/forecast and provide insightful commentary, both overall and by cost center.
• Support the preparation and deliver of all planning process in a timely and accurately manner (strategic plan, annual budget, forecasts).
• Implementation of improved processes within FP&A/ Ad hoc financial projects, reporting and analysis.

Technical skills and abilities:

• At least 3 years' experience in finance role and financial reporting systems.
• Accounting qualification Part Qualified or AAT qualified
• Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, including Excel modeling (PivotTables, Vlookup).
• Excellent communication skills with an proven track record of building relationships with senior stakeholders.
