This is a cross functional role designed to support and drive growth in EBITDA margin in the UK Food & Consumer Films Business.
Based in locations across the UK, this role will perform a vital role in supporting our Sales & Operations Planning process by providing a visible forecast by site and product segment.
This role will support both the strategic growth plans by site and segment in conjunction with the commercial and finance teams. Driving growth opportunities into the correct segments and ensuring focus is given the correct pipeline opportunities will require an understanding of both the market conditions for each segment and the operational capabilities of each site.
This role will also be responsible for analysis of a wide range of sales and commercial data to support the business objectives. Developing systems and models that help improve business processes and support the sales team will be critical.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide strong financial business partnering for the Sales Director and key Finance and Operational stakeholders
- Coordinate business Sales Pipeline by working closely with the external sales teams to ensure clear and accurate data of pipeline opportunity status is available at any time
- Implement a sales forecasting tool to be used by the sales team
- Provide commercial performance and forecasting to the site Finance Teams
- Supporting the external sales teams in ensuring sales forecasting data is available
- Identifying opportunities to drive margin improvement by customer/ product through connection with commercial teams
- Analyse and identify correct actions for sales variances by customer and product line
- Co-ordinate sales budgets and forecasts for the Films business unit, ensuring data collected is consistent and understood
- Embracing a Continuous Improvement philosophy continually challenge the status quo and identify what works well and where improvements can be made to processes or reporting
Requirements:
- Full or Part qualified CIMA, ACCA or professional individual qualified by experience
- Must be highly numerate and computer literate in a windows environment
- Strong data mining ability and interpretation of data
- Excellent presentational skills
