My client is a well known and established Private Equity Firm based in London who are looking for a new addition to their PE team due to expansion.

This is a role with very commercial elements and high level exposure to partner level and the executive office as well as with the investment team.

Main duties include:

• Analysis of portfolio company performance, both financial and operational
• Review of quarterly valuations and direct liaison with the investment team
• Supporting the production of monthly portfolio monitoring reporting
• Review and analysis of portfolio company performance
• Development and enhancement of systems, processes and reports
• Supporting the production of MI, reports and other ad-hoc information for the Private Equity business line
• Planning and reviewing the work performed by the outsourced team to ensure accuracy, consistency, timeliness
• Assisting in the training and providing support to the PE investment team on the monthly portfolio monitoring and quarterly valuation processes

The successful candidate will ideally be ACA qualified (or equivalent) from a Big4 firm working within financial services. You may also have spent some time within M&A or Transaction Services and have an excellent academic record. Candidates with Business Partnering experience within Financial Services will also be considered.

Advanced excel skills are also required along with strong relationship management and communication skills. Portfolio monitoring or management reporting experience would be a big plus.
