A reputable wholesale/beverages business in London is currently recruiting a Finance Assistant position. This is a newly created role and an exciting time to join a fast growing business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible maintaining sales ledger, including cash allocations, setting and communicating customer credit limits, chasing outstanding and overdue debt, resolving customer queries around invoicing, liaising with internal departments as appropriate, performing month end and year end reporting of aged debtors for the group, bank reconciliations and assisting with management accounts.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a finance relate role, ideally with exposure to sales ledger. You will be self-motivated, organised and work well as a team player. The candidate will have a solid base understanding of finance and double entry. Strong Excel skills and previous use of using an accounting system are an advantage. The role would suit someone who has graduated in the last year or two or someone who is currently studying towards an AAT qualification.
