Finance Assistant - (Part-time)

An Architecture company based in Central London are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join a growing tam. The role will start on a temporary basis for 1 months with a good chance of going permanent dependent on performance while in the role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Bank & Cash flow- checking all banks on a daily basis and updating the short term monthly cash flow.
• Sales Invoices / Credit Control- Raising sales invoices according to project cash flow schedules, liaising with both the Project Director and Project Manager to do so.
• Filing, coding and batching invoices as well as chasing debtors for any outstanding money.
• Managing the purchase invoices for both UK & Ghana, filing, coding and batching invoices.
• Completing payment runs (Faster Payment/BACs) and deal with staff expenses.
• Credit card monthly reconciliations.
• Liaising with overseas companies to identify cash flow needs close to month end and dealing with foreign currency transfers.
• Working with HR to collate payroll information on a monthly basis as well as communicating with external payroll processors.
• Ad Hoc requirements as instructed by the Head of Finance and Management Accountant.

Desirable Candidate Profiles:

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Ability to multi-task, completing a number of different activities at any one time.
• 2 to 3 years' experience in a Finance department.
• Computer literacy essential with previous experience of Excel, Word & Microsoft Outlook. Strong excel skills are required.
• Experience working with Sage 50 would be an advantage.
