Marks Sattin are working with a very acquisitive private-equity backed business who have a new requirement for a Project Accountant/Business Partner to join their growing finance team.

In this newly created role, you will work across the Group managing Finance related projects as part of the 'buy and build' strategy. The role can be based in Nottingham, Birmingham or Crewe.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the integration of acquisition finance systems into the Group finance system
• Create a methodology based on learnings for the integration of future acquired businesses
• Work closely with new acquisitions to understand current reporting practices
• Review the existing Finance processes across the Group, make recommendations for a consistent set of processes and work with other finance colleagues to implement
• Develop consistent Group reporting and budget preparation

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA & CIMA)
• Knowledge and experience of various IT systems
• Experience of managing projects
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel across the group - UK wide
