Finance Business Partner

I'm working with a FTSE100 Bank who are looking for a qualified accountant to join their business to be responsible for Finance business partnering with Client Operations senior management including management reporting and analytics

Key Accountabilities

Impact on Business

  • Understanding the requirements of Client Operations and the regulatory demands
  • Maintaining close relationships with management with a strong business partnership focus
  • Lead and develop an offshore team based in India to deliver standardised MI, analytics and sector billing volumes and metrics
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for Client Operations
  • Providing support to key internal clients / stakeholders in managing their cost base, and customer charges
  • Prepare summarised and insightful analysis to present to senior finance management
  • Working closely with Regional Finance teams to ensure accuracy of income statements and budgeting process
  • Ensure control of the cost governance processes with regular reporting against cost challenges and sustainable cost reduction programmes are submitted on quarterly basis

  • Experience in banking/financial services
  • Managing multiple teams and handling international clients

Skills Knowledge and Experience

  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Strong experience in consolidated reporting
  • Preference with financial services experience
  • Good understanding of the client on-boarding and regulatory environment.
  • Proven track record in managing teams & growth.
