Our client is an International Hospitality and Multisite Leisure business and seeking an analytical and innovative Finance Director to head up their finance function. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for commercial finance operations, audit and controls, statutory and regulatory compliance, stakeholder relations and debt facility. They are a highly successful business that operates around the UK and Internationally with an excellent reputation on the market.

As Finance Director, you will be taking control of the finance function, key responsibilities will include, cash flow management, developing, maintaining and re-enforcing control policies and management of supplier payments within a highly leveraged environment. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be required to provide financial information across all functions of the business and building strong relationships in the process.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) preferably chartered
• Ideally experience in hospitality or retail sectors
• Proven experience as divisional Finance Director/Head of Finance/Group Financial Controller in a larger organisation and looking to make a step up in their career (on the upward trajectory)
• Have a keen eye for detail and considerable technical and commercial awareness
• Have had experience of a multisite business via both no. of sites and sales growth (EBITDA)
• Experience in a complex financial environment
• Have strong experience of commercialisation of a business through development of KPIs and commercial analysis
