We are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Finance Director on behalf of a Multi-Site FMCG Group. This is an imperative role within the business and comes with huge responsibility and equally great prospects.

In a high profile Finance role, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning and control, ensuring delivery of cost base and efficiency targets. This role will play a key role in decision making impacting all facets of the division and will take the lead in driving continuous improvement of the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the team to deliver the required performance objectives
• Take a lead role in the development and delivery of stretching business plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational strategic direction for the division
• Provide challenge across the leadership team on strategic plans, direction and performance and ensure follow-up on commitments and action plans
• Ensure that cost efficiency and a cost-conscious culture is a key focus for the Leadership team
• Work collaboratively to realise profit growth through driving business change activity
• Ensure financial and business controls remain relevant by working with accountable owners in Group or Central functions

Previous Experience & Skills:

• Must have held a finance leadership role in a multi-site business of scale and complexity
• A track record in leading and developing a diverse tea and creating a high performing culture
• Strong analytical capability, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to challenge and influence across a wide range of stakeholder, including the most senior levels in the organisation.
• Must have a strong commercial mindset and high degree of business acumen
• Experience of working within a large complex matrix and of managing multiple, sometimes confliction priorities

Ideally you will be ACA or CIMA Qualified, have strong commercial finance, business partnering, FP&A type experience with a very promising track record and the hunger to really take your career to new heights. Ideally you will have experience within a growing & changing environment.
