Heading a team with 3 direct and 10 indirect reports, we are now recruiting a 12 month contract to start in May/June 2017 (Flexibility can be offered) in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector. Reporting into a Head of Commercial Finance, this role will ensure the correct planning, budgeting and forecasting is in place. It will support the necessary financial analysis including preparing and presenting the board pack to the board and senior management team. Other key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage the monthly management accounting process
• Production of quarterly forecasts
• Ensure the correct controls are in place considering a growing and evolving business
• Manage and oversee the transactional function
• Provide robust and well thought analysis to the business results to support projections
• Lead by example and set a commercially and financially aware culture that is second to none
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders

Essentially this 12 month contract is targeting a CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant and will partner with the Finance Director and other heads of finance. There is a degree of flexibility over when this role could begin but the incumbent must be in post by no later than mid May to the start of July.
