My client is a large and growing commodities brokerage based in the city who are looking to hire a finance manager for a 9 month contract.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of quarterly and group reporting requirements

• Review the financials ensuring a timely and consistent approach to consolidations and reporting

• Lead and manage the annual external audit
• Prepare and review FCA reports
• Manage the relationships with banks
• Manage the calculation of transfer pricing and VAT

Candidates must have the following:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA);
• Detailed knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS reporting standards
• Knowledge of Tax - local, international, VAT, FATCA
• Excellent Excel skills;
• Team player but with ability to work autonomously
• Knowledge of derivative products
