My client are a Private Equity backed financial services organisation with revenues close to £700m p/a who have enjoyed significant growth in the last 5 years. Due to progression a key role has become available in their Bracknell head office. The Finance Manager will be responsible firstly for the direct line management of 4 members of staff, 3 of whom are part qualified ACCA/CIMA and one newly qualified accountant. The role will see you take ownership of the P&L for UK & Ireland, and the production / consolidation of the UK & Irelands statutory entities. This person will also be responsible for the compilation of the monthly reporting pack with commentary. Budgeting, forecasting and explaining the variances alongside supervising the junior members of the team's work. you will be required to have a hands on mentality and previous management experience. Reporting directly to the EMEA Financial Controller with a dotted line to the Finance Director it is important for this candidate to have the ability to communicate at all levels and to motivate a team of juniors. The ideal applicant will be qualified with 2-4 years PQ and a strong academic record who can either demonstrate previous experience as a finance manager within a similar organisation or a track record of progression with the desire to grow into a role like this.
