This is a new position for a Finance Manager to join a thriving and dynamic business in Bradford to manger and lead a small team. This role will give financial stewardship and ensure the correct controls are in place whilst supporting the board in giving clarity on both revenue and costs. Other responsibilities include;

• Providing detailed analysis to support the board
• Production and review of the Management Accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of VAT and some small tax returns
• Support Company Secretarial and expense policies
• Overseeing the transactions team and processing
  

Essentially this role is seeking to attract a qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA who has drive and motivation to instil change and introduce new efficiency and control. As this role is fully expected to engage with both internal and external stakeholders it is essential that you have strong communication skills and an ability to work with business managers to push back on budgets, challenge assumptions and change common practice which may not be contributing to company objectives.
