Finance Manager - Gloucester

Marks Sattin are partnered exclusively with a growing IT services business in search for a Finance Manager to their Senior Management Team in Gloucester. This is an opportunity to join a fast paced, progressive SME organisation with 30% growth YOY, whilst reporting directly into the Managing Director. You will be responsible for the management of 1 staff member with the scope to grow the team and develop your career.

Responsibilities within this role;

• Day to day management of the Finance Team
• Answers questions and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed
• Senior Management Team input and contributing to company decisions
• Ensure the timely preparation of and development of the management accounts function of the Company
• Prepare reports, budgets, forecasts, commentaries and financial statements
• Reconcile actual spending with budgets
• Develop and manage financial systems/policies
• Control and forecast income and expenditure
• Cost control management for the business, ensuring value for money is obtained with contracted and one-off major expenditure items
• Perform calculations to produce financial analyses and reports as requested by the management

The ideal profile;

• Studying or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Ambitious individual with a proven ability to adapt to new challenges.
• Ideally the ability to perform high level Excel skills.
• 'Can-do' attitude.
