FINANCE MANAGER

FMCG BUSINESS WITH GREAT CULTURE

£32,000 to £40,000 per annum

North Yorkshire, Head Office

In this role of Finance Manager you will be a pivotal part of a small finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

My client are a family-owned business who have seen significant growth since their beginning back in 1970. Their clients are predominantly in the catering and retail trade and they supply their product from Scotland to London. The company is rapidly expanding, but this does not mean that they cannot still deliver the personal touch that is needed in their industry to keep their customers satisfied.

The key duties of this role will include:

  • Preparation of 4 companies monthly and annual management accounts
  • Co-ordinating all aspects of the accounts function towards month end
  • Monitoring and controlling the cash-flow alongside the Head of Finance
  • Supervise the finance team consisting of 4 direct reports
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Produce forecasts for 4 companies
  • Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations for all 4 companies
  • Update the Fixed Asset Registers monthly & calculate Depreciation charges
  • Liaise with the auditors at year end including production of tax packs
  • Stock management
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required

This Finance Manager opportunity would suit a professional, qualified candidate who is experienced in producing full sets of management accounts in a manufacturing/fmcg business.
