Finance Manager - Management Accounts

£50,000 - £53,000 + Benefits

12 months fixed term contract

The company

Marks Sattin are working closely with one of Yorkshire's largest companies as they go through an exciting period of transformation. They are looking to grow their team and bring on board a Finance Manager (Management Accounts) on a 12 months fixed term contract basis.

The role

The Finance Manager will have a key role within a high performing fast paced team responsible for management reports, financial reporting, delivery of board MI, statutory accounts and managing a team of 2.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Take a senior role within the finance team, responsible for co-ordination and delivery of the management reporting process

Providing insightful MI

Play a key role in supporting senior management and stakeholders

Delivery of the year end audit, statutory accounts and changes in accounting standards

Responsible for the management and development of junior Finance team members

Lead process improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience required:

- Fully Qualified accountant, ideally ACA but strong ACCA & CIMA candidates will be considered

- Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience within a blue-chip organisation

- Ability to manage complex processes with multiple inputs

- First class stakeholder management skills

- FMCG or retail experience is desired but not essential
