Marks Sattin are currently working with a global organisation to assist in the recruitment of a Project Manager, they are looking for people to be based in either the Sheffield or Leeds office.

This role will suit a Business Analyst looking to move into a Project Manager role or a Junior Project Manager looking to take the next step. You will be assisting the Financial Change Manager as there number 2 and assisting with a variety of projects from large global programmes to smaller local change projects, across both IT & Finance. You will need to have a broad range of experience as this is a varied developing role.

Responsibilities;

• Managing & maintaining project controls; RAID logs, delivery plans & Testing documents.
• Having responsibility for your own project work streams.
• Taking control of test activities on key projects / programmes.
• Liaising with the PMO to provide updates on projects.
• Establishing & maintaining a key working relationship with IT teams.

Skills;

• Prince 2 Practitioner, or Foundation, the business will invest in you to practitioner level.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Experience of working on large projects and service improvement initiatives.
• Experience of managing test activities.
• Desirable - Experience of SAP Business Objectives
• Desirable - Experience of transactional finance processes
