A global consulting firm providing services for some of the world's largest and best known businesses is looking for a Finance Transformation Consultant to join their team for the next 6-12 months.

You will work on site with one of their biggest clients here in Dublin city centre and will be responsible for the design and the implementation of their Finance Function Transformation. This transformation will be across the region.

Specifically, you will:

  • Drive the execution of the Finance Transformation program road-map consisting of cross-functional activities/projects, maintaining activities and projects associated with the transformation, and driving execution milestone deliverables with adherence to budget and quality measures. Work closely with Finance executives to support alignment and execution of prioritized implementation plan.
  • Support finance and cross-functional leaders and partners to identify, clarify and resolve complex issues critical to the success of the Finance Transformation program. Work with business/process owners to identify key business issues, apply the appropriate analytical framework, develop solution and recommendations, represent findings to stakeholders, and own the outcome.
  • Develop frameworks, approach, and methodology in line with leading practices. Support the planning and implementation of processes to guide financial systems and solution delivery,
  • Work with business and IT leadership to identify and establish information requirements, develop and implement data strategies and systems to enhance business processes and manage business intelligence.
  • Support the change management elements of the finance transformation to ensure that the changes are sustainable throughout the organisation long-term.Ideally you will have 10 years + experience within a Big 4 or other large global consulting business - experience as an external consultant is critical as you will need to demonstrate previous success designing, driving and delivering transformation projects in conjunction with in house teams.
  • If you are a qualified accountant and have certification in programme management/Six Sigma/Prince II then this will be extremely helpful.
  • The successful candidate will be comfortable understanding and applying business strategy across Global Operations, influencing senior leaders and giving direction across all levels within a global finance and accounting environment.
