Financial Accountant - 12 months FTC

Marks Sattin are currently working in partnership with a large recognisable and respected brand who are looking to bring on a qualified Financial Accountant to assist with their year-end process.

The financial accountant will be responsible for a broad range of duties primarily statutory compliance, management reporting, maintenance of a strong internal control environment and business support.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and analysis of variances to budget/forecast; commentary on business drivers

Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of action items

Balance Sheet variance commentary and analysis

Providing accurate accounts

Processing journal transactions

Reconciling balance sheet accounts

Delivering financial reporting

Acting as a business partner to key areas of the organisation.

The Person

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant

Financial accounting expertise

Experience working in a fast paced, large organisation

Excellent inter-personal skills

Strong systems skills

Strong organisational skills

Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work to.
