My client are the next big thing in the tech industry without a doubt! Identified this year as one of the fastest growing and brightest prospects in the sector they continue to move from strength to strength. With a estimated yearly revenue of around £100m from inception in 2011 they are a substantial mover and have tied down some extremely lucrative contracts scaling the business for further growth going forward. With plans to sell or float in the future it couldn't be a much more exciting prospect for a new employee looking to join.

The team aren't huge, they are currently fairly well optimized but with the amount of growth the business has seen over the last year it's imperative that the integrity of the numbers are solid. Therefore a new requisition for a qualified financial accountant has been signed off to join the team down in the Winnersh office, working alongside the finance manager and the financial controller this role will be responsible for:

  • Statutory accounts preparation
  • VAT
  • Reporting (FRS 102)
  • Point of contact for the auditors
  • Project accounting
  • Due diligence

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified accountant from either an industry or practice background CFA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA. They will be strong communicators with the ability to influence and push back on senior management. They will have experience or working within a corporate environment and be someone who is eager to learn and develop whilst not being afraid to get their hands dirty and muck in where required.

Dress code relaxed, bring your dogs to work, manage your own time and be the master of your own destiny.
