Marks Sattin have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Financial Accountant to join a growing Finance team based within Hull based business. Reporting directly to the Financial Accountant key responsibilities will include Delivering timely and accurate financial data to the business, Interrogating large amounts of data to gain insights into business process and performance and protecting the business assets through financial integrity. Other duties will include:
- Support in preparation of annual budget
- Support Financial Accountant in preparation of Weekly Management Accounts.
- Analyse and present, spend vs budget, trends to key stakeholders
- Detailed Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cover when required, Presentation of weekly accounts
- Management Reporting
- Quarterly VAT returns
- P11d Reporting
- Internal Audit work
- Support Year‐End statutory accounts
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Part/Qualified
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively
