A large plc client of mine are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join their busy finance team based in North West London.

Duties include:

• Ownership of monthly management accounts for head office and legal entities for holding properties.
• Assist with preparation of Group month end / quarterly and yearly financial accounting reporting packs to strict deadlines.
• Analyse and report on the performance of all business units, competitor benchmarking and identifying areas for improvement on accounting procedures and financial performance.
• Assist with central procurement and purchasing department.
• Providing support to the Site Accountants and Operations Team with an element of travel to sites.
• Co-ordinate and support the preparation of budgets.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations for the Group.
• Manage working capital & highlight any concerns.
• Assist with statutory compliance and filing (GDPR/HMRC) including preparation for year-end tax computations.
• Liaise with HMRC, internal and external auditors.
• To carry out ad hoc tasks as the Financial Controller and Finance Director may require.

The successful candidate will be part qualified/finalist ACCA/CIMA/ACA and must have audit experience

IFRS experience is desirable

Strong Excel skills are essential
