One of the world's leading insurance companies is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a very busy role and has evolved to be the most complex and involved of the positions within the business.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the quarter end close ensuring compliance to Group accounting standards.

Specifically, you will be involved in the planning process, including budgeting, preparation of management accounting and variance analysis as well as financial reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting.

You will prepare local GAAP results on a quarterly basis and be ensuring compliance to both local GAAP and IFRS.

Ideally you will have experience in a cross-border company and have exposure to one or more European GAAP reporting requirements. Exposure to variable annuities will also be an advantage.
