Start your job searchThis is a retained assignment with one of the biggest debt platforms in the world, boasting an AUM of well over £100Bn. They are looking for a Financial Controller (roughly 10 years PQE) with closed ended fund experience (ideally credit but open to private equity or real estate) to join their established fund finance team.
As a controller, your role will be responsible for all internal and external reporting as well as the management of third party relationships. The hands on work is done by juniors in the team but you will review everything - monthly NAV reports, quarterly LP reports, cash flow projections and so on. All that would be expected in a senior position within fund finance. Added to this however, you will be involved with a mixture of structuring and ad-hoc project work with other internal teams: Investment, Portfolio Management and Investor Relations.
In terms of a business, they are a power-house within the space but with the HQ being in Chicago, the London office works like a boutique. It has a friendly, European atmosphere with culture and personality at the heart of everyone they employ. It makes for a fantastic working environment where work/life balance and flexibility is valued.
The remuneration on offer is incredibly competitive (including the bonus) as is the fantastic benefits package.
If you are looking for a new challenge, in a powerful, reputable investment house in Mayfair or would passively like to hear more information, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Thomas Wesseldine at Marks Sattin.
