Chic fashion brand with international offices requires a highly astute and technically strong Financial Controller to take responsibility for managing the full finance function on a daily basis. You will work closely with the senior management and investors in this growing PE-backed business to ensure the continued growth and enviable reputation for quality.

The Role:

This position represents an outstanding opportunity to make a mark on an already successful company, and gain exposure to the rigour of an investor-led institution. From their trendy London offices, you will be fully responsible for the finance function on a day to day basis. The role will also consist of ensuring the financial and operational management and control all the operating entities globally in a rapidly changing private equity backed company.

The candidate:

• Detail-oriented qualified accountant with an understanding of international reporting in the retail sector or similar.
• Exposure to processes performed in a multisite business.
• Due to the high levels of operational growth the company is undergoing, candidates must be technically strong and comfortable dialling in systems, processes, and controls.
• Extensive understanding of managing stock, consolidation of accounts including all financial accounting and reporting for the group.
• Detailed knowledge of financial planning and analysis within a retail company/ wholesale consumer or related business.

The ideal candidate will be either a Financial or Management Accountant in a larger business or a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a smaller business looking to make a step up. This fast-paced, PE-backed business is the perfect environment in which to demonstrate aptitude for financial control and commercial acumen. Our client is ideally looking for a qualified accountant, preferably chartered, with 5 years PQE.
