A well known Fin Tech company specialising in payments are looking for a Financial Controller to run the finance team and work closely with the CFO. The company is seeing increasingly high levels of growth and is a great business to work for. You will report directly into the CFO and you will gain well rounded experience and exposure to all areas of the business as well as working with key internal senior stakeholders.

You main responsibilities would include:

  • Leading a finance team of 4
  • UK and Ireland reporting and activity to group level
  • Improving the controls within the business and managing the financial processes
  • Working closely with Heads of Departments and Directors
  • Managing statutory accounts and overseeing VAT returns
  • Reviewing costs, working closely with the Finance Analyst to improve reduction and control
  • Year-end consolidation and accounts, overseeing external audits, preparation on the balance sheets and profit and loss account
  • Reviewing the cash flow and monitoring performance against budget on a monthly basis
  • Management and ownership of monthly payroll and pension with month end journals
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory and corporate guidelines

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified (ACA,ACCA or CIMA) accountant with experience in a similar role
  • Have experience within a private equity back business
  • Have experience of working in a high turner over and high growth company
  • Have experience with a High growth business
  • Have previous management experience
