An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile retail fashion brand in the role of Financial Controller to head up the accounts team. This varied and rewarding role would suit a technically and commercially minded individual who is looking for career progression within the retail industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in statutory accounts and budgeting and forecasting as well as an ability to oversee the company's financial strategy, planning and all internal and external group reporting. The role will also consist of producing, reviewing, and analysing financial information to support decision making by the senior management teams in both the UK and internationally.

You will also utilize your communication skills and initiative to develop relationships with internal customers and head office budget holders, explaining variances and proactively highlighting areas of opportunity and concern.

Your proven ability to drive change and implement improvements whilst managing the finance team, ensuring tasks are prioritised and clear deadlines are met will allow you to grow with the business.

The candidate will need to be qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), ideally Chartered or certified, having trained in a firm of accountants, and then a background in retail or consumer related business.
