This opportunity represents an excellent step up for an individual with previous experience of either fund or group finance; offering a wide range of responsibilities and excellent chance for growth.

The business in question are an experienced and leading player in this space, with a focus on growth capital and development for a varied portfolio of businesses - they have an excellent track record spanning over 15 years. Your role, as Financial Controller, will see you take responsibility for the financial management and reporting of the companies within the group's corporate structure as well as oversight of the Fund accounting for the private equity funds under management.

Core aspects of the role include financial management & analysis, preparation of Fund Track Records, Portfolio monthly trading schedules and valuation models as well as various ad hoc projects - reporting directly to the CFO and managing a small team beneath you.

In terms of candidate you must be a qualified accountant with previous experience of private equity, either through fund or group finance, as well as having the gravitas to liaise with senior stakeholders.

Remuneration will be in the region of £70,000 to £80,000 with discretionary bonus and other benefits.
