Financial Controller - Real Estate

Broad, senior role within a real estate investment group based in the City. This position will involve management of a small team whilst also liaising with senior investment staff to ensure you can provide advice to drive the business.

Role

Senior position within the finance team, leading the day-to-day activities as well as carrying out ad hoc analysis tasks to assist senior management drive decisions. This role reports to the Head of Property and will give you exposure to operational areas of the business.

• Work closely with senior management to provide relevant analysis and assist with decisions
• Manage a small finance team including taking responsibility for their development
• Manage and review preparation of management and statutory accounts
• Act as subject matter expert and point of contact for the group department to ensure consolidation is carried out on time
• Lead the audit process
• Review and improve systems and controls to ensure maximum efficiency, allowing time to be spent on more commercial work
• Assist with cash flow budgeting and forecasting

Next steps

You will be practice-trained with post-qualification experience in-house and some experience of managing staff.
